My name is Ruth.
I am a professional hair stylist and make-up artist specialising in weddings.
In a career spanning over twenty years, I have worked with many hundreds of bridal parties as well as styling clients for a range of special occasions.
Whatever your bridal hair and make-up requirements, I will work closely with you to ensure that you look flawless, natural and elegant on your special day.
From my base in Cheltenham, I am happy to travel to your home or wedding venue on the wedding day. If you wish, I can also style your bridesmaids or other members of the bridal party.

Bridal hair and make-up trial
The trial is a key part of planning ahead for the wedding day itself. If you want to explore different styles or try out some new products, this is the ideal session.
We go in detail through all the design elements of the wedding such as your dress, planned hairstyle, bridesmaids, flowers and accessories. I can guide you towards hair and make-up styles that will suit you and the mood you want to create.
We’ll run through the wedding day routine so you know exactly what to expect and I will provide a timed schedule in advance.

Wedding day
I provide a complete wedding day service, tailored to your personal requirements.
I am available for all members of the party on the day of the wedding, in your home, hotel or other venue.
I will arrive on the wedding day in plenty of time, ready to make you and the bridal party look elegant, stunning and natural.

What cosmetic products do you use?
My kit includes a full range of high-end products with brands such as Chanel, Dior, Nars, Mac, By Terry, Laura Mercier, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown, Hourglass, Kevyn Aucoin and many more.
Where does the bridal hair and make-up trial take place?
At my home in Cheltenham.
Trials may be booked Tuesday – Friday, 9am – 2pm.
How long is the bridal hair and make-up trial?
About two hours
What do I need for the trial?
Please come with hair washed the day/evening before and preferably make-up free. Bring illustrations of hair & make-up styles that you like. Also bring pictures of your wedding dress and any hair accessories you plan to wear on the day.
What should I bring with me to the trial?
First we sit down and go through the design elements of your wedding, so please feel free to bring illustrations and photographs to give me a feel of the style and look you want to achieve. If you would like me to do hair and make-up for other members of the bridal party, it’s helpful if you can bring photographs of them and their dresses.
Do you wash my hair on the wedding day?
No – washing prior to styling is inadvisable. I ask that hair be freshly washed the day/evening before the wedding.
